What is OCP?

OCP (Open Compute Project) is an open hardware standard developed by Facebook/Meta and adopted by major data center operators. OCP mezzanine NICs use a standardized connector, so this card will work in any server with an OCP 2.0 compliant mezzanine slot — it is not locked to QCT. Compatible OCP 2.0 servers include models from QCT (QuantaGrid/QuantaPlex), Wiwynn, Hyve, ZT Systems, Inventec, and other hyperscale OCP vendors.

Important — OCP 2.0 vs OCP 3.0:

This is an OCP 2.0 card. OCP 2.0 and OCP 3.0 use different physical connectors and are NOT cross-compatible. Newer Dell PowerEdge (R650/R750/R660) and HPE ProLiant (DL380 Gen10+/Gen11) servers have OCP 3.0 slots — this card will not fit those. Verify your server has an OCP 2.0 slot before purchasing.
